Our Sonic-Player-of-the-Game for Friday, November 3, is Matt Armstrong of the Oak Hall football team.
The senior saved his best for last.
Armstong had a career-high in rushing yards with 230 on 21 carries as the Eagles won their regular season finale at Aucilla Christian (Monticello), 35-23.
He had one touchdown rushing and also completed 7-of-10 for 113 yards as Oak Hall finished 6-3 on the season.
For the year, Armstrong finished with 896 passing and 12 TD, and he also rushed for 521 yards with 5 TD’s, in just seven appearances in 2017. His class finished with a 23-5 record the past three years.
