The 2020 All Area Football Team is presented by Mainstreet Daily News and The Prep Zone. We convened a panel of local sports writers and coaches to select the best of the best from the 2020 high school football season, taken from within Mainstreet’s eight-county coverage area in North Central Florida.
The team is broken into four squads: offense and defense for small schools (1A-3A) and big schools (4A-7A). It includes 48 players and two coaches, each of whom is receiving a commemorative plaque in recognition of their outstanding season. We’ve also recognized another 91 players as honorable mentions.
