Mason Herring (.413, 26 RBIs), Shane Harris (.323, 25 RBIs) and Drew Perry (.379, 10 doubles, 24 RBIs) also provide offensive punch for Lafayette. The visiting Tigers, Class 1A state champions in 2012, are in their first playoff since 2014. Union County is batting .307 as a team and has a team ERA of 1.85.
