GAINESVILLE, FLA. (7/10/19) – The Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) will host the 2019 North Central Florida Football Media Day Wednesday, July 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is being organized by FloridaHSFootball.com and ThePrepZone.com.
More than 30 teams from the region will attend and preview the upcoming football season with regional media members. In addition to the interviews and photo shoots, FHSAA staff members will be on hand to answer questions from coaches and student-athletes concerning eligibility, compliance, recruiting and football rule changes.
Cheney Brothers, one of the fastest growing, respected and progressive food service distributors in the southeast, will provide lunch for all attendees.
ABOUT THE FHSAA
The Florida High School Athletic Association supervises and regulates interscholastic athletic programs for high school students at member public, private and charter schools. The organization also recognizes and honors academic achievement among student-athletes at almost 800 middle, junior and senior high schools statewide. Headquartered in Gainesville, it is the official governing body for interscholastic athletics in Florida.
