- McGill posted three shutout victories last week for the Blue Wave (18-2), who outscored their three opponents, 27-0. The junior struck out a total of 19 batters and pitched consecutive 3-hitters against Columbia (Lake City) and Fort White, followed by a 1-hitter against district rival Oak Hall. McGill added her fifth home run of the season against Columbia, along with a pair of RBI’s and a 2-for-2 performance against PK Yonge.
