Event Details: Join Marty Pallman (Play-by-play) and Skyler Lebron (Color) for this match-up of state-ranked teams. The visiting Bulldogs are currently ranked 3rd in the state in Class 5A. The Hurricanes are an honorable mention in 7A.
Suwannee (19-4) is led by senior Sam McMillan, a future Gator who ranks first on the team with 11 doubles and seven home runs. He also leads the ‘Dogs with a .477 average. Suwannee bats just .297 but the Bulldogs have been almost unhittable with 1.43 team ERA.
GHS (18-5) junior Joseph Strong has hit a team-leading eight home runs and is batting .343 on a team that bats .296. They are also stingy on the mound with a team ERA of 2.11.
