Event Details: Join Marty Pallman (Play-by-play) and George Koziara (Color) for the Class 1A-District 7 championship game from Chiefland. Trenton is ranked No. 1 in the state in Class 1A. Chiefland is the three-time defending state champion.

This is the third meeting between the two teams. Trenton won the first meeting at Chiefland on March 10, 6-1, but Chiefland won in Trenton, 2-1, on April 14.
Both teams advanced following wins in the district semifinals.
On Tuesday night, three-time defending state champion Chiefland clinched an FHSAA playoff spot and advanced to tonight’s game with a 12-0 win against Branford. Samantha Rolfe was 3-for-3 with a home run and a double and Emily Hallman was 3-for-4 with a home run and a double for Chiefland, which will enter tonight’s game with a record of 21-5.
Trenton, which is now ranked 1st in the state in Class 1A, along with Union County. The Tigers cruised to a 20-0 win against Bell on Tuesday night. Senior Kyndall Williams was 2-for-2 with a home run and three RBIs, and senior Jaycee Thomas was 3-for-3 with two runs scored for the Lady Tigers, setting up a rematch between the top two seeds. Trenton will enter the game with a record of 20-2.
